Athens (2 nights) plus 3 Day Cruise to: Mykonos - Rhodes - Patmos - Ephesus, Athens (2 nights)

In just one short week, we give you an in-depth look at Athens and its historic sights, plus a 3-day cruise to give you a tempting look at three outstanding islands.

The first is Mykonos, the jewel of the Cyclades, with its pure Cycladic architecture and exciting cosmopolitan air; next you’ll travel “back to the medieval ages” with a visit to Rhodes and a chance to wander the Old Town and see the famous Castle of the Knights; you’ll continue to Kusadasi, where you can tour the fantastic site of Ephesus, or do some great shopping if you prefer; and the last cruise stop will be at Patmos, revered home of the Monastery of St. John.


Day 1: Athens City
Arrival at Athens International Airport. Meet our representative and transfer to your hotel. The remainder of the day at leisure. We suggest you visit the Old Part of town, Plaka, and eat at the Traditional "tavernas." Overnight.

Day 2: Athens City
After breakfast, depart for your sightseeing tour of Athens. Visit the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Syntagma Square, the Royal Palace, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, The Thesseum, The Greek Orthodox Cathedral, the Flea Market of Monastiraki, The Academy and, last but not least, the Acropolis and its Museum. Return to your hotel. Overnight.

Day 3: Athens City , Piraeus Port, Mykonos Island
After breakfast, meet our representative and transfer to Piraeus port to embark on the vessel for your 3-Day Island Cruise. Afternoon arrival to the Island of Mykonos , with its rustic windmills, churches, whitewashed houses, beautiful beaches and the cosmopolitan nightlife, which have made this Cycladic Island the island of choice for the rich and famous of the world.

Day 4:  Mykonos Island , Rhodes Island
Early morning arrival at Rhodes, the largest of the Dodecanesse Islands, known as the Island of Roses. Take an optional excursion to the city of Rhodes and Lindos, or visit the Old City on your own. Visit the medieval Castle built by the crusading Knights of St. John, walk through the Street of Knights and be transported back to the Medieval Ages.

Day 5: Rhodes Island , Patmos Island

Day 6: Piraeus Port
Early morning arrival into Piraeus port. Meet our representative and transfer to your hotel. Remainder of day at leisure. Overnight.

Day 7:  Athens City
A day free at leisure to do your last-minute shopping. or to visit some sights that you may have missed. This would be a perfect evening to take our tour "Athens by Night!"
Overnight.

 Day 8:  Athens City
After breakfast, meet our representative and transfer to the airport for your departure.
