AN INDICATIVE PROGRAM  | DAY 1 Tuesday-Athens: Upon your arrival in Athens, you will be welcomed and transferred to your hotel. Dinner and overnight. |  | DAY 2 Wednesday-Athens: After breakfast, we will have a guided tour of the city of Athens. Visit the Acropolis to see the ruins of the Parthenon, Erectheum and Propylae. Enjoy free time before dinner and overnight in Athens. |  | DAY 3 Thursday-Corinth: After breakfast, we visit Corinth: here St.Paul founded a Gentile Church in 50 AD. Visit the ruins of the ancient city where Paul worked with Aquila and Priscilla. See Apollo's Temple, the Agora and the Museum. Return to Athens for a bit of free time, dinner and overnight. |  | DAY 4 Friday-Mykonos:  Today, we leave for Piraeus Port for our 3 day cruise. Our first port-of-call is Mykonos: the whitewashed streets and windmills of this Cycladic island will enchant you. We have free time to stroll the winding streets, visit the tiny chapels, take pictures of the windmills or enjoy the sunset on the waterfront. |  | DAY 5 Saturday-Rhodes: This morning, our ship enters Rhodes Port, which was once dominated by the Colossus, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. Spend the day walking the narrow winding streets of this medieval city. St. Paul is believed to have landed here in a small gulf. |  | DAY 6 Sunday Patmos-Ephessos: This morning, we arrive at Patmos, the Jerusalem of the Aegean. Here St. John the Evangelist was exiled between 95 and 97 AD and wrote the Book of Revelation. We will visit the monastery built in his honor and visit the Grotto of the Apocalypse. Then we go to Ancient Ephessos, Kusadasi in Turkey, to visit the ancient ruins and see the House of the Virgin Mary. St John and St. Paul preached here for many years. |  | DAY 7 Monday-Delphi-Kalambaka: Arrival at Piraeus port and depart for Delphi, the center of the ancient world. On the slopes of Mount Parnassus, lie the ruins of the Sanctuary of Apollo Phthios. Visit the museum and continue to Kalambaka. Dinner and overnight in Kalambaka. |  | DAY 8 Tuesday-Meteora-Thessaloniki: Visit Meteora Monasteries. Among striking scenery, perched on top of huge rocks, stand ageless monasteries where you can see exquisite specimens of Byzantine art. The monastic Community began in the 11th century and flourished in the 15th. Later, we depart for Thessaloniki. St. Paul preached here during the winters of 49-50 AD and wrote two epistles to the ancient Thessalonians Dinner and overnight. |  | DAY 9 Wednesday-Kavaka-Phillipi: Excursion to Philippi where St Paul delivered his first sermon in Europe. See the Roman Forum, the Basilica and the Theatre. Continue to the port city of Kavala, ancient Neapolis, where St.Paul first set foot in Europe. Dinner and overnight in Thessaloniki. |  | DAY 10 Thursday-Departure: Transfer to Thessaloniki airport for departure. | |
